Wooseok Cultural Foundation was established in August 1976 on the purpose of sponsoring students, research and development and cultural work to bring up talents. It started with 50,000,000 won in the beginning and now its property is 2,200,000,000 won.

1. Scholarship
Wooseok Cultural Foundation has given scholarship to high school and college students since 1997. Totally, 1,537 students were received and 1,555 million won was granted.
2. Scientific Research Sponsor
Since 1988, 36 people and 135 million won were supported for the field of economy, medicine, fundamental science, and elementary education.
3. Technology Sponsor
Seek for the industry technology, which can be a driving force of Korea economy development and support the technicians of the field. Wooseok Technique Aaward was created in 1996 to support technicians of can manufacturing and materials.
