Research and Development Research is one of the most important parts in TCC STEEL. With constant investment and appearance of the newest facilities, progress is being made in quality improvement and invention of new products. TCC's research laboratory is exclusive and one of the biggest labs in Korea for surface treatment research. The lab consists of professionals in corresponding fields and the products developed in the lab are definitely contributing to the development of electrolytic tinplate. Moreover, to minimize environmental pollution, TCC is equipped with water contamination proof facilities. Copper Plated STS Development 00.07 Developed at first in Korea. It has a excellent durability and natural color tone of copper, so it is used for construction, roofing, interior and exterior materials. Applied to line Ni Plated Steel 01.03~01.12 It has excellent corrosion resistance, workability, so it is used for batteries, automobile mufflers, electronic components, etc. Substitution effect of nickel coated steel plate. Nickel Coated Steel Plate. PE Film Laminate Steel Tape 01.06~02.12 It has excellent adhesive strength between film and steel tape. Used for cover steel of optical cable. Steel Tape Laminate Steel 02.10~ Environment-friendly product by coating PP and PET film on steel. Laminate Steel Patina Copper 03.02~03.08 Made artificial patina, which has same components as natural patina.
